The state-of-the-art double-drag system.

The lightweight Turbine Disc series incorporates the benefits of the revolutionary Turbine Drag system (no inertia at startup, automatic drag change in relation to the speed of the fish and no overrun) with the braking power of a proven disc drag. So, let the fish run against the turbine drag. Then, if you need to pull the fish out of a current or back to the boat, turn on the disc drag. All are machined from solid 6061-T6 aircraft grade bar stock aluminum and feature stainless steel bearings for long life and smooth operation. Available in Gold or Titanium anodized finishes for corrosion protection. Spare spools are available. Simple to change between left and right hand retrieves.

The Saltwater Turbine/Disc

The Saltwater Turbine/Disc has stronger frames, stronger turbine drags and greater capacities to handle stripers, bluefish, bonefish, permit, cudas and other species. The BT&T (Billfish Tarpon & Tuna) is a heavy duty, large capacity reel that feature STH's Strongest turbine drag (from 1/2 lb. up to 10 lbs. max.) and a superbly smooth Teflon®/stainless steel disc drag.

The Freshwater Turbine/Disc

Freshwater has your needs covered whether you are fishing for big trout, redfish, steelhead or salmon. Size S2 and L3 incorporate a turbine that supplies from 0 lbs. up to 2 lbs. (max.) of drag and a Teflon®/brass disc drag. The Large Arbor LA-3 (shown in titanium finish) uses a turbine that supplies from 1/2 lb. up to 3 1/2 lbs. (max.) of drag, with a Teflon®/brass disc drag. Can also be used for saltwater fishing. Patented by R.L. Sacconi
